Hi, I'm Lacey!

I'm Lacey May Hill — born, raised, and still in central Arkansas. My life is basically run by my two very opinionated furry co-workers, Ziggy and Kiser (they insist on being mentioned first in most conversations, so here we are), and supported by my husband, Austin.

If you can't find me, check for a coffee in my hand. I'm happiest with a full cup, a little peace around me, and absolutely no idea what hobby I'll fall in love with next — because I am, proudly, a serial hobby-hopper and a lifelong learner. Concerts, hiking, a good book, an occasional (very occasional) baking project — if it's new and a little exciting, I'm probably trying it.

Okay, but why a VA?

By day, I'm a middle school science teacher — and I absolutely love my students. But I've also seen firsthand what a broken system can do to someone's time, energy, and passion. I know what it feels like to give everything to something you care about and still feel like there's never enough of you left over — for my family, for friends, for the things that actually fill you up.

That's exactly why I started Lacey May Assist. I wanted to build something on the side that gave me more time and more financial breathing room — and in doing that, I realized I could offer the same thing to other women. Women who are pouring themselves into something they love, whether that's a boutique, a bakery, a flower shop, or a real estate business, and who deserve to get some of that time and peace back too.

What I actually want for you

I'm not here to just check tasks off a list. I want you to feel seen — like someone finally gets what you're building and why it matters. I want you to feel understood — like your time, your goals, and your sanity are just as important as your business's success. And more than anything, I want you to know that not one single minute you hand over to me will feel wasted.

Because you didn't build your business to live inside your inbox. You built it to have a life and a business you love — and I'm here to help you actually have both.

Let's talk

If this sounds like the kind of assistance you've been needing, I'd love to hear from you. Send me a message — let's talk about what having your time (and your Sunday feeling) back could look like.

You're allowed to want more than 'good enough.' You're worth building a life you're excited to live.
